On a summer evening in Birmingham, Alabama, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of Jerry DeWayne Bailey. The 32-year-old Black man was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in a grassy area on Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard North on June 1, 2024.
