In the late hours of a Thursday night in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 35-year-old Diontranet Tinae Brown was tragically cut short. On September 19, 2024, the mother, known affectionately as 'Dee Dee,' was inside a bar and lounge on 9th Street North when gunfire erupted. An innocent bystander, she was struck by a bullet. Emergency services arrived to find her unresponsive on the ground. She was rushed to UAB Hospital, but her injuries proved fatal.
