Esaw Wood, a 68-year-old man from Thomasville, Alabama, was found dead in what authorities have described as a brutal home invasion. The grim discovery was made on June 30, 2024, after the Clarke County Sheriff's Office was asked to conduct a welfare check at Wood's residence on Pleasant Hill Road.
