In the early hours of Mother's Day, a sense of tragedy unfolded in Montgomery, Alabama, that would ultimately claim the life of 34-year-old Jeffrey Williams. On Sunday, May 12, 2024, at approximately 1:14 a.m., police and medics were dispatched to the 1100 block of Oak Street following a report of a person shot.
