In the early hours of a Sunday morning, the life of 34-year-old Dwyer Koharrell Fields, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On June 11, 2023, what began as a dispute at a location in Birmingham would tragically escalate and conclude in front of a residence on the 100 block of Fair Street in Hueytown. Fields and a woman had an initial altercation and then drove in separate vehicles to the Hueytown address.
