In the early morning hours of June 4, 2023, a violent encounter in the Eight Mile community of Mobile, Alabama, left one man dead and another critically injured. William Anthony Jones, a Black male, was fatally shot on Myers Road. When Prichard Police arrived at the scene, they discovered Jones deceased and a second victim, Jacquel Bridges, with life-threatening injuries.
