In the spring of 2023, the life of Jonathan Vann Boyd, a 43-year-old Black/African American male from Talladega, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On May 5th, officers with the Talladega Police Department arrived at his residence on Howell Cove Road to conduct a welfare check.
