In the city of Selma, Alabama, a young Black/African American man's life was cut short. Georgio Howell, a 21-year-old male, was killed on the evening of Friday, March 17, 2023. The fatal incident occurred around 8 p.m. in the 2000 block of Second Avenue, where Howell was discovered with a gunshot wound.
