In the early morning hours of March 2, 2023, the life of 26-year-old Fredrikis M. Heard, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. Police and fire medics were dispatched to the 4900 block of Hatton Avenue at approximately 12:45 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Heard suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for emergency medical attention.
