An 18-year-old Black male, Jaedan Davis, was tragically killed in a shooting in Montgomery, Alabama, during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 29, 2023. The incident, which also resulted in the injury of another adult male, unfolded in the 2900 block of Canterbury Drive, where Montgomery police officers were dispatched around 1:40 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Davis, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
