In the Deanwood neighborhood of Washington, D.C., on the evening of February 28, 2014, tragedy struck brothers Khalid Jamal Bryant and Jason Emmanuel Bryant. The two were walking along Lee Street, just outside the Antioch Baptist Church, when they were gunned down in a fatal shooting.
