In the early morning hours of June 7, 2022, a wave of violence cut short the life of 25-year-old Domonique Deandre Williams, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama. Williams was seated in a vehicle in the Ensley neighborhood on the 1700 block of Avenue J when the street was shattered by the sound of gunfire at approximately 6:10 a.m..
