In the quiet community of Salem, Alabama, the life of 57-year-old Carl Anthony Bryant, a male resident, came to a tragic and violent end. On the afternoon of March 5, 2022, a 911 call led Lee County Sheriff's deputies to a grim discovery in a wooded area off Lee Road 140. There, approximately 60 yards behind a residence in the 1600 block, lay the body of Bryant.
