In the predawn hours of a Tuesday in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 33-year-old Terrell Monez Hardy was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On October 5, 2021, in the quiet residential area of Taft Street and Malvern Street, the sound of gunfire shattered the early morning silence.
