In the summer of 2021, the life of 22-year-old Robert Nell Mims-Daniels was cut short by a fatal shooting in Bay Minette, Alabama. On the night of July 20th, police were called to West Ellis Street where they discovered Mims-Daniels suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead. The Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit was brought in to spearhead the investigation into the young man's death.
