In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, a tragic workplace shooting shattered the lives of several families in Albertville, Alabama. Michael Lee Dobbins, a 29-year-old male, was one of two victims who lost their lives on June 15, 2021. The incident occurred at the Mueller Co. plant, a cornerstone of the community known as the 'Fire Hydrant Capital of the World'. Dobbins, a resident of Boaz, had been working at the factory for almost a year, diligently saving to purchase a home and a car.
