In the late hours of a Sunday night in Lanett, Alabama, the life of Johnny K. Barnes, a 45-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On March 7, 2021, at approximately 11:58 PM, officers from the Lanett Police Department were dispatched to the 3300 block of 16th Avenue SW following reports of a shooting.
