In the late summer of 2020, the community of Greenville, Alabama, was unsettled by the discovery of a local man's body. On September 15, 2020, the remains of 31-year-old Antonio Simmons, a Black/African American male, were found on Joe Killough Road in Butler County. It was a tragic end for a man who was known as a dedicated worker at Hudson Funeral Home and a loving father to two daughters. The last time he was seen alive was around 4:30 a.m. that same day at a local motel.
