In the summer of 2020, the life of 31-year-old Landon Ellis Borden, a resident of Decatur, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Saturday, August 8th, Decatur police were called to the vicinity of 14th Avenue and 4th Street Southeast following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Borden suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital for medical attention.
