In the quiet early morning hours of June 19, 2020, the body of 27-year-old KeAira Battle, a Black female, was discovered in the parking lot of Elmore County Hospital. A graduate of Wetumpka High School, Battle was remembered by friends as a great friend with a genuine heart who always made people smile.
