In the quiet community of Somerville, Alabama, the morning of April 17, 2020, was shattered by a violent act that resulted in the death of Janet Roper Emrico. Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 200 block of Shagbark Trail.
