In the late summer of 2019, the life of 24-year-old Justin L. Martin, a male resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of August 15th, a burst of gunfire erupted near the campus of Alabama State University. When the chaos subsided, Martin and another young man, 21-year-old Jacquez Hall, lay dead. The incident, which also left three other individuals wounded, was later described by investigators as having occurred during a drug transaction.
