On a Friday afternoon in Bessemer, Alabama, a dispute tragically escalated, ending the life of 25-year-old Carterrius Jamez Lowe. The Black/African American male was fatally shot on February 15, 2019. The incident unfolded around 1:30 p.m. in the 200 block of 24th Street South.
