On a Saturday evening in May of 2018, Justin Kyle Lett, a 28-year-old medical salesman, went out with friends in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Their night concluded at Marty's PM in the Five Points South area. In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 13th, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Lett was seen getting into the front passenger side of a newer model white sedan that had pulled up outside the establishment.
