In a quiet home in Smiths Station, Alabama, the life of 23-year-old Robert Lee Woods Jr. came to a tragic and unexpected end on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. A domestic dispute escalated to violence, leaving the young man with two fatal gunshot wounds. The shooter was identified by the Lee County Sheriff's Office as his own mother, 55-year-old Francine Woods.
