In the summer of 2017, the life of 19-year-old Ladarius Marquise Cardwell was tragically cut short in Opelika, Alabama. On the evening of Saturday, August 12th, gunfire erupted, and when the chaos subsided, Cardwell had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
