In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Sylacauga, Alabama, the life of 44-year-old Curtis Chadwick Jackson was tragically cut short. Just after midnight on August 1, 2017, gunshots echoed through the Drew Court area of the Sylacauga Housing Authority. When police responded to the calls, they discovered that Jackson had been shot. Paramedics arrived swiftly and transported him to Coosa Valley Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he passed away shortly after arrival.
