In the spring of 2017, a dispute in a garage in Northwest Huntsville escalated into a fatal triple shooting that claimed the life of 26-year-old Ladarius Turner. On the evening of May 31st, Turner was in a garage on Brookmanor Drive with two other men, Cordarryl Toney and Montez Holt, playing video games. Their gathering was interrupted when two men, later identified as Brian Andre Simpson and Malcolm X Forman, entered the garage and began arguing with Toney.
