In the autumn of 2016, the life of 25-year-old Marvin Smith Jr. was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of October 8th, a Saturday, police were called to the UAB Hospital, where a man had arrived in the lobby seeking help for another individual in a vehicle outside.
