In the spring of 2016, the life of 43-year-old Recco R. Cobb, a Black/African American male from Auburn, Alabama, was tragically cut short. In the late hours of Saturday, April 23, 2016, Cobb was at Mr. D's Lodge, a nightclub in Auburn, when gunfire erupted. The chaotic scene left three men dead, including Cobb. The other victims were identified as 25-year-old Jadarrion L. Spinks and 32-year-old Roderick L. Nelms.
