In the summer of 2015, a domestic dispute in Brent, Alabama, escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving a family shattered and a community in mourning. On the evening of July 22nd, 45-year-old Catherine Leverette, a female resident of the small town, was shot at her home on Dogwood Drive.
