In the early evening of June 3, 2015, the life of Dr. Luke Nelson Taylor III, a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. Officers and emergency personnel responded to a call around 9:25 p.m. and discovered Dr. Taylor lying in the roadway on Ivy Lane, near Southern Boulevard.
