In the late summer of 2014, a young mother's life was tragically cut short in the quiet community of Waugh, Alabama. Ballard Foster Reynolds, a 27-year-old Caucasian woman from Pike Road, was fatally shot on the evening of Saturday, August 30, 2014, during a robbery. The incident occurred near the St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where authorities discovered Reynolds with life-threatening injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to her wounds.
