In the spring of 2013, the life of 40-year-old Michael Timmons was cut short in a burst of violence on a Montgomery, Alabama street. On the afternoon of May 1st, Timmons was in front of a home in the 900 block of Alexander Street when he was shot. First responders arrived to find him in a life-threatening condition, and he was rushed to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The male victim's death marked the 22nd homicide in the city that year.
