Shawn Christopher Ahrent, a 20-year-old tattoo artist from Clay, Alabama, died on December 12, 2008. His death was the result of a single gunshot wound to the chest. The incident occurred at a residence on Clearview Road in the Palmerdale area of Jefferson County.
