Gerald Paravicini, a 46-year-old man, was killed in the early morning of February 15, 1992, in the Irvington-Bentley area of southern Mobile County, Alabama, after what began as a desperate return to his home by a man he had taken in and allowed to stay there. Court records say Jason Oric Williams had been living with Gerald and Clair Paravicini for about two weeks because he had nowhere else to go.
