On a tragic spring day in Gadsden, Alabama, the life of Eldred Curtis McDonald, a 44-year-old male, was cut short in an act of workplace violence. On March 22, 1975, McDonald, a dedicated postal tour superintendent, was fatally shot at his place of employment, the Gadsden Post Office.
