Troy Lynn Mabbitt, a 49-year-old white man, was killed on March 18, 2018, after gunfire erupted in north Casper, Wyoming. That Sunday afternoon, Casper police were dispatched at about 2:25 p.m. to the 1100 block of Burlington on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and rushed him to Wyoming Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead in the emergency room.
