In the late hours of March 15, 2021, a 24-year-old Hispanic male named Guy Lopez II was shot and killed near the Boise State University campus. The incident unfolded on Chrisway Drive when Lopez met with two men, Matthew Allen Crawford, 22, and Devoune Mosley, 23, under the pretense of a drug transaction.
