Jamere Black was a 22-year-old Black/African American male from Wilmington, Delaware, whose life ended after gunfire broke out on Halloween afternoon, October 31, 2024. The shooting happened at about 12:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of East 28th Street in Wilmington, in an incident that quickly drew police, medical responders, and investigators to a neighborhood scene marked off with police tape.
