Jordaan Brummell, a 26-year-old Black / African American male from Millsboro, Delaware, died on June 4, 2024, after a shooting on Saint Thomas Boulevard in Millsboro. Police said officers from the Millsboro Police Department and Delaware State Police were called to the area around 10:47 a.m. and found Brummell suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers began life-saving efforts at the scene before he was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
