Michael L. Coffey, a 53-year-old White/Caucasian male from Marydel, Delaware, died on September 2, 2023, after a violent road-rage encounter in Hartly. That Saturday evening, shortly before 6:30 p.m., Delaware State Police were called to the 2400 block of Halltown Road after reports of a shooting.
