Just after sunrise on April 29, 2023, Patricia Anderson Olmstead, a female age 86, was found dead inside her Wilmington, Delaware home after an open-line 911 call drew troopers to the 1800 block of Veale Road. Responding Delaware State Police entered through an unsecured side door and discovered two elderly residents—Patricia and an 87-year-old man—lying in their beds with apparent gunshot wounds.
