Danielle Hallmon, a 29-year-old Black / African American female, was killed in a burst of gunfire on the afternoon of February 4, 2023, in Wilmington, Delaware. The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. in the area of East 23rd and Pine streets, with police reporting the scene in the 300 block of East 23rd Street. When officers arrived, they found three people who had been shot while inside a vehicle.
