David Lee Clark, a 29-year-old Black/African American man from Dover, Delaware, was killed in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 26, 2015. Clark was born September 2, 1985, and was the son of Johnnie Gibson and Lida Darling. What began as an otherwise quiet predawn morning in downtown Dover ended with Clark lying mortally wounded on North New Street, leaving his family and friends with few answers about who had taken his life.
