On a Wednesday afternoon in Omaha, Nebraska, the life of 22-year-old Jarrell Haynes, a Black / African American male, was cut short by gunfire. On March 2, 2016, Haynes was fatally shot outside his aunt's home in the area of 30th and Laurel Avenue.
