On the evening of May 13, 2020, 21-year-old Leroy Ignacio Iribe, a male of mixed race, was fatally shot in west Phoenix, Arizona. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. near 71st Avenue and McDowell Road. According to police reports, Iribe had made arrangements to meet a woman to make a purchase.
