Delfino Picazo, a 59-year-old male, was killed while simply doing his job on the morning of April 6, 2020, in downtown Phoenix. He worked as a medical transport driver, and just before 5:30 a.m., he was waiting in his car for a passenger at an apartment complex near 2nd Avenue and McKinley Street. It was there that he was approached by an individual who demanded money at gunpoint. During the armed robbery, Picazo was fatally shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
