In a field just outside the city limits of Dumas, Arkansas, the discovery of human remains on March 12, 2024, brought a tragic end to the search for a missing teenager. Employees of an irrigation company working in the area off U.S. Highway 165 stumbled upon the scene and promptly alerted the Desha County Sheriff's Office. The body, found in a state of decomposition, was unidentifiable at the time, prompting an investigation by the county's criminal investigators.
