On March 29, 2024, Jamie Bukoski Felix, a 45-year-old teacher, was tragically killed in a violent incident involving her estranged husband, Ray Felix. The events unfolded when Ray Felix, aged 60, approached Jamie and their two children at a local business in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was dressed in a disguise and forced them into a rental car.
